Wassenaar Warriors International Rugby Club
Wassenaar Warriors IRC (formerly known as BSN Rugby Club, established in 1976) is one of the largest and most successful international youth rugby clubs in The Netherlands. From Under 9 to Under 19, teams compete in all regional and national competitions throughout The Netherlands. The club also has an active Tags (non-contact) rugby introduction programme for U7's.
Our rugby club has a long history and strong link to The British School in the Netherlands, the club originated at the school and eventually developed into an independent club with home grounds at the Senior School in Voorschoten. Many of the club members come from the BSN school.
Since September 2020, the club has a new home base at SV Wassenaar and a new name. It has grown to include many members from the French community, the Dutch community as well as many other nationalities.
We prioritize player development, teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play; not just winning trophies. We prioritize great coaching and refereeing and celebrate international rugby culture at all levels and abilities.
