Our Minis ended the season spectacularly with a victory at the North Sea Beach Rugby tournament on June 28 and 29, 2025 in Scheveningen. After a thrilling final at the beach stadium, they proudly took home their trophy.

The Cubs also won this beach tournament, and the Benjis and Juniors achieved great results as well. A total of 170 youth teams participated in the matches held on the Scheveningen beach.

Beach rugby is an intense variation of traditional rugby. It is played with five players on a smaller pitch, without scrums or line-outs. A try is worth one point, and after a tackle, the ball must be released within two seconds. Matches consist of two halves of five minutes each, shorter than regular rugby, but due to the fast pace and the sandy playing surface, it is physically demanding for the players. For spectators, it is a dynamic and exciting spectacle.

We congratulate the Minis on this fantastic victory, well done!
