On Friday, June 13, Wassenaar Warriors celebrated the end of the 2024/2025 rugby season with a festive evening full of fun, food, rugby and awards. Joined by members, their families, coaches, cluster partners, and other dedicated volunteers, the club marked the occasion in style at our home ground in Wassenaar.

Under clear skies, everyone enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere, and the much-anticipated award ceremonies. During the club-wide award ceremony, each team honoured standout players with awards for Player’s Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, and the Way of the Warrior award. We also proudly recognized members who have been part of our club for 10 years or more, a true testament to their commitment.

In addition to club-wide awards, teams held their own closing moments with heartfelt words from coaches, team-specific recognitions, and shared memories. It was a perfect finale to another fantastic rugby season.

While a few international tournaments still lie ahead, including the United World Games in Austria for our Juniors and a tournament in Épernay, France for our Minis, we’re quickly approaching a well-earned summer break. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the new season at the end of August.
