Save the Date: 50th Anniversary Rugby Reunion in 2026
In 2026, we will proudly celebrate 50 years of rugby heritage connected to the British School in the Netherlands and our international rugby community. From the club’s early beginnings in the mid-1970s and its evolution into the Wassenaar Warriors International Rugby Club in 2020, this milestone is a tribute to our rich and enduring rugby legacy.
In celebration of this significant milestone, we are hosting a special BSN Rugby & Wassenaar Warriors Reunion in Q2 2026 (date to be confirmed). This event will honor five decades of youth rugby, friendships, and the spirit of our international community. Whether you were a player, coach, volunteer, or supporter, this is an event you won’t want to miss. More details to follow.
Legacy of international rugby
BSN Rugby Club was founded by a passionate group of sports teachers and rugby enthusiasts connected to the British School in the Netherlands (BSN) in 1976. Over the years, it developed into one of the region’s premier youth rugby clubs, renowned for its strong sense of community, diverse international membership, and high-quality coaching and play.
In 2020, the club relocated to the current Wassenaar Warriors IRC grounds but remains closely connected to the BSN school, as well as the broader expat rugby community. We continue to uphold the core values of rugby, and the best international traditions of the game.
