Wassenaar Warriors is proud to announce the launch of Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s teams for the upcoming season, a major new chapter in the club’s history.

Since our founding as BSN Rugby Club, and now as Wassenaar Warriors, nurturing the next generation of rugby talent has always been an important part of our mission. Watching our youth players grow in skill and spirit has been incredible, but it’s led us to a big question: Why should the fun stop when you turn 18? We believe it’s time for our club to grow alongside our players and bring Senior Rugby to Wassenaar.

We need you to kick things off

This isn’t just about finding players; it’s about building a community. To make this happen, we need to gauge the interest within our current families, alumni, and the local area.

We are looking for:

  • Players: Whether you’re a former youth player reaching senior age, a parent who wants to dust off their boots, or a total beginner, we want to hear from you.
  • Coaches: Help shape the technical foundation of our new senior section.
  • Organizers: From managing match days to coordinating socials, we need “off-field” MVPs to help run the show.

Rugby is a lifelong sport. By starting these teams, we aren’t just giving our oldest youth players a place to go; we’re creating a complete pathway that keeps our club family together for years to come. Plus, there’s nothing quite like the camaraderie of senior rugby.
