Turvens: No Break for the Hard-Working Warriors
During the schools’ half term breaks, the hard-working Turvens did not stop training, rain or sunshine!
On October 29th, the rain was pouring and the wind was blowing. But our Warriors did a good job! Coach Vincent mentioned “We did tags and passing exercises and played a long game to keep everybody warm! Bravo to the Warriors for keeping the good spirit despite the poor weather condition!”
On October 31st, the Turvens had another great session alongside the Tags, Benjis, and Minis. Coach Adam commented “We ran passing drills and practiced dummies / shimmies before playing 5 against 5 for 45 minutes. There were some amazing defensive play and huge commitment to getting tags. A couple of really spectacular tag tackles in particular from Leo and Tibor were stand out moments. Well done Warriors for a great morning!”
The Turvens also had a farewell celebration to say thank you and goodbye to one of our Australian players, Sam. He will bring our Warrior spirit back to Australia and continue his wonderful rugby journey there. Good luck, Sam and the family. We will miss you!
