Last Training Session for Turvens 2020-2021

On Thursday May 13th, 2021, Turvens 2020-2021 had their last training session.

In order to prepare for the next season, the teams have started the training sessions in next year’s configuration from Saturday May 15th. Our 10 second year Turvens players will become Benjis Warriors. Hence, this Thursday training session became our very last session.

The weather was not on our side. The forecast showed there might be a storm during the training, but we decided not to cancel the last training. So we were training alongside Cubs while observing the dark clouds coming closer and closer. 30 minutes into the training, the rain started and was getting stronger and stronger. But it did not bother our Warriors, old and young. They played in the rain bravely! They commented: This is rugby! We can’t even feel the rain! And because of the coaches, this was also a happy session. Nicely done, Turvens 2020-2021!

Although the story of Turvens 2020-2021 has come to an end, the new chapter will continue this Saturday. Most of our Warriors will train as veterans in Turvens 2021-2022 and everybody is looking forward to it!
