After hard work during the Minis LMF (District qualifiers) round 2 on Saturday, March 25, our Minis Warriors won their tickets to participate in the national finals series on April 1, where they will meet the best teams from the Dutch rugby districts.

What a great and solid performance since the beginning of the qualifiers which started 2 weeks ago. Playing the first round home on March 18th, our Minis finished 1st of their group scoring 28 tries and giving away only 2 to the opposition. The group is united and has shown strong collective effort. The second round of the qualifiers was at HRC on Saturday 25th where the top first and second from last week end round 1 games were invited to play against each other. The winners of their group would be then invited to the National games on April 1st to play against the top Minis team of each District in The Netherlands.

During round 2, our Minis played successfully 2 solid HRC teams and one team from Voorburg. Clearly the intensity was a level up from round 1 but our Minis Warriors stayed focussed and disciplined. The collective effort and the desire to win paid off as we finished 1st from our group winning the 3 games and 1st again in the overall ranking for the day beating Diok in the final 2-1.

Wassenaar Minis Warriors finished 1st in their district! Fantastic effort from the group and a great achievement to remember.

On to the national finals now!!
