Saturday was Minis Districts day at HRC with 13 teams from Zuid Holland competing for the District championship and qualification for the Nationals.

BSN cruised through the group stage and semi-finals, with wins against HRC2, Hermes and DIOK, but couldn’t find a way past the cream of HRC in the final.


After posting 22 tries without reply, BSN lost 1-6 at the close of the day to a strong and well-structured HRC side.

Our captain, Cammy, was still happy to pick up the 2nd place trophy and qualification to the Nationals. He led the way with four try assists, as well as picking up a score against DIOK in the semi-final.

Player of the match went to Lachlan, our leading try scorer on the day with eight tries; his powerful and direct running turning the opposition defence on a number of occasions.
