Our Turvens played in Delft on September 19, the first game of this season! As our club progressed into a new stage, more players joined this group. Therefore, in the new season, we have registered for three teams! 21 warriors joined the games on Saturday.

Although our Turvens are young and most of the players had never played a official match before, three teams made 61 tries in total! We have seen some great individual initiatives, but also some group work in the second half of the games. In addition, the teams are making progress on defence. We have seen multiple five successive solid tags tackles and even some double tags!

Head Coach Alberic commented: ‘The three teams are very good in attacking and getting slightly more autonomous on the pitch. We are on the right way. We will focus on the defence in the coming training sessions.’

Last but not least, it was the first time for many parents to watch, coach, and conduct as referee. All the adults made an enthusiastic atmosphere while maintaining social distance. Everybody is looking forward to the rest of the season!
